Landscape Maintenance
We are licensed, bonded, & insured.
We are educated & passionate, California native plant experts.
We do all our own work... wisely, reliably, & honestly.
We are not your typical "mow & blow" gardeners. We do not provide weekly garden care. Our focus is on maintaining CA native gardens, which generally only need seasonal maintenance.

HOW OFTEN IS MAINTENANCE NEEDED?
A garden comprised of mostly annual, perennials, and flowering shrubs will usually require maintenance every two months (January, March, May, July, September, & November) or more depending on your level of neatness.
A well designed native garden (one that consists of 50%-75% evergreen shrubs that are properly spaced) should only need seasonal maintenance (January, May, & September).

WHAT IF I NEED MORE MAINTENANCE?
Our mission is to not only install and care for native gardens, but to inspire you to care for your own (& enjoy doing so). If you're willing to take on some task in between our visits, we can set up a consultation and formulate a DIY garden maintenance plan for you to follow. This will help you understand your plants and their specific needs. This allows you to leave only the most important and crucial task for us.
If you like a tidy garden and aren’t willing to do it yourself, we recommend hiring another gardener to handle the mundane and repetitive tasks such as blowing leaves, killing weeds, clearing pathways etc. Then, you can have us come out every 2 or 4 months for a more design-focused maintenance with an emphasis on trimming your precious natives properly.
