Golden Spined Cereus is a small to medium sized, evergreen cactus that grows moderately. A very erect plant, growing straight up. The spines on this plant are very plentiful and a beautiful blonde gold color that looks nice back lit by the sun. Very drought and heat tolerant.

In the garden, these can be used as a privacy border. The spines are very very plentiful. I wouldn’t want to run into this plant. They are also used in rock gardens and cactus gardens. Can be grown in a pot as well.
